Day 1: Arrive / Nairobi House of Waine Welcome to Nairobi , Kenya 's vibrant capital city. On arrival you will be met by a SLA rep and taken to the House of Waine a unique boutique hotel situated on 2.5 acres in Karen . Set in a serene setting, the eleven guestrooms are all individually styled with different themes ensuring that no two rooms are the same. Each bedroom features a large marble bathroom with plenty of natural light, a separate shower and bath (with the exception of 2 which feature only a bath) and all have a complete range of toiletries, hairdryers and bathroom telephone. The rooms have televisions, direct dial telephones , a complimentary mini bar (alcoholic beverages not included), mini safe, tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk and freshly ground coffee delivered daily and complimentary pastries .The cuisine is varied and meals are served in different settings every day . Day 2, 3, 4: Meru Elsa Kopje After breakfast, a transfer will be provided to Wilson for the 08.00 am flight to Meru. On arrival, a driver guide will meet and transfer you to Elsa Kopje where you are booked for three overnights. Located in the untamed wilderness of Meru National Park , Elsa's Kopje blends effortlessly into Mughwango Hill, the site of George Adamson's original campsite and made famous by George and Joy Adamson's biographical film Born Free. This small and unique lodge blends into the rocky crags of the kopje (small hill). The cottages are uniquely designed and crafted to incorporate the natural features of the rocky hillside. Each cottage has spacious double or twin beds and elegantly appointed bathrooms - a butler service is also provided. There is an open bar, lounge and dining room and an exceptionally inviting infinity pool overlooking the Meru plains. Meal plan is on an all inclusive basis. Day 5& 6: Samburu Ol Malo Fly to Samburu on the 8.00am schedule service to the place of the greater kudu' Ol Malo situated on a 5,000 acre game sanctuary perched above the Uaso Nyiro River . Two overnights will be spent in one of four charming cottages discreetly nestled between rocks and cliffs and overlooking a large waterhole where elephant and resident leopard regularly come to drink. Each guest cottage has a huge king size bed, luxurious en-suite bathroom and a private veranda. The lodge boasts a swimming pool with stunning views. The hosts also have a stable of horses and camels, which offer a unique perspective of this wild land and good chances of seeing shyer antelope species such as klipspringer and the majestic Greater Kudu. To stay at Ol Malo is to abandon oneself and live by another drumbeat in a wild and beautiful land of Kenya 's Northern Frontier District. Day 7, 8, & 9: Near Magadi - Little Shompole Leave after breakfast to Wilson Airport for the charter flight to Shompole Lodge departing at 1300 hrs to arrive at 1330 hrs. A professional driver guide will be waiting at the airstrip to transfer you to Little Shompole, commanding striking views across the Great Rift Valley . Complete with large double beds, cool pools, sun-deck, lounge and spacious bathroom with his and hers washbasins, these rooms are the ultimate in stylish privacy. The rooms also share an exclusive lounge and dining area and a lap pool that looks out across Lake Natron . Guests of Little Shompole can enjoy the privacy of a dedicated team of staff, private guide and butler service. Activities on offer include early morning and evening walks, day and night game drives, visits to Lake Natron to see the Flamingoes and birds, Lion, Leopards, Cheetah, Hippo, Aardwolf, Civet and Wild Dogs. Meals will be served at the Little Camp dinning area (FB) Day 10, 11: Masai Mara Bateleur Camp Depart on the scheduled afternoon service to the Masai Mara , Kenya 's finest reserve; a vast expanse of open land with a dense concentration of resident animals. A professional driver guide will be waiting at the airstrip to transfer you to Bateleur Camp nestled in a lush riverine forest. The tented suites epitomize classic elegance with polished wooden floors and en suite bathrooms with glass-walled showers, twin hand-basins and a separate flush w.c. Each tent has a private deck overlooking the vast game-filled plains of the Masai Mara, and a personal butler will ensure your every need is catered for. Day 12: Depart Enjoy a final game drive this morning and return to Nairobi on the afternoon schedule service. A transfer will be provided to the Airport for your international flight back home.
